It then goes on to cover the knowledge and skills needed to start up a new business, from refining the initial idea and preparing a business plan, through financial and legal planning to market testing, business planning, securing premises, reaching customers and, where appropriate, finding suppliers.

The examination costs €65 and is taken at home at your convenience. If you receive 70% or more in this examination you will receive an ITEC – Irish Training and Educational Centre Diploma.
