“These Counselling Resources are designed to meet two requirements. Firstly, the need to provide an overview of a particular counselling topic as a prelude, perhaps, to possibly undertaking a full-time resource of study on that topic.

Secondly, these resources are designed to assist and enhance the knowledge of existing qualified counsellors on a particular topic.”

Course Description

This Alcohol & Drug Counselling resource lays out in simple form the essentials for understanding alcohol and drug problems, for making an assessment of the individual, for giving appropriate help within one’s own competence and for making decisions on when to make professional referral and when to seek the advice of others.
