Most non-fiction books, biographies and reference books have an index at the back which is designed to help the reader locate the various pages, within the body of the book, where a subject, fact or individual is mentioned. An index saves the reader the task of reading through an entire book just to find out a small piece of information or a few facts. A good index is user-friendly.
This course shows step-by-step all the decision-making areas which you will encounter in any book indexing assignment. It is an ideal add-on skill to editing and proofreading.
